Importing meshes into Symvol increases memory and disk space.

Added by Cherie . about 6 years ago

Normally Symvol models are very small. When a mesh is converted into a volume, this will increase both memory and disk space. This is due to the use and continued reference of the original mesh data. In practice this means that files with volume meshes will be roughly around the same size, usually a little less, as a normal mesh format and in a modeling system. Of course the Symvol objects in the same file will remain small.
